Happy New Year! ... And Merry Christmas

Christmas Eve Traditions:
On Christmas Eve we played out the Christmas story
with our little bitty manger scene.

The kids enjoyed it.

Then we exchanged brother/sister and
Mom and Dad presents.

Came Christmas morning!

This was our crackling fire

And this is what it looked like before the whirlwind.

It was actually quite a relaxing morning.
I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
The kids didn't even get up until about 9am.
Of course! The ONE day they sleep in.. ;)
But I didn't mind.
