The Last Half..

Hangin' with the Meachams in Indiana..
(Staci's Sister's family)

Daddy took care of the kids while Mommy went
garage sale shopping with the girls.

Kidses kidses everywhere!

Lydia and the Babe -These two hung out the whole time.

While these two are the same age.
Rachel and Elizabeth

And the boys.. they enjoyed the computer the whole day.
Isaac's kind of crowd..

Some more of the girlies..

Shantelle -How could I not post this?

Usn's
Hey, where's Sierra?

Hee hee

Zack and Isaac

Grandma was good at showing Ashlyn the wonders of.. wonders..
and Grandpa was good at watching. :)

Sisters

The drive to Carthage..
We saw brother Kevin, Dawn and family.
Unfortunately, we didn't take any pictures while we were there.
But the kids enjoyed being with their cousins.
After we got home, Isaac said, "My cousins live far away." -With a sad face.
Poor kidlets..

How do babies bend their necks so far? Ack!

After Carthage, we headed through Missouri.
That day it was supposed to be a severe thunderstorm day,
but instead it was nice.
When we got to Adam-Ondi-Ahman, the weather was perfect and sunny.
You know what I love about that place?
Every time I go there,
there's this amazing bubble that surrounds you.
The birds chirp, but everything is hushed or serene.
It's like an outdoor temple. I love it!
Even the kids knew there was something special about that place.
We explained some things to them before we got there.
Isaac loved it so much he wanted to go back when we left.

The view

Elizabeth enjoyed looking for flowers the whole time we were there.

Ashlyn enjoyed crawling all over the rocks.

And Isaac enjoyed looking at the big field.

I was pretty sure I found the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. ;b
Seriously, this tree looked old and the leaves were very different.
I know, I'm sure it's not, but it's still fun to imagine..

That night we stayed in Independence, MO.
We wanted to plot out our piece of land..
No, but we visited the temple site.

And here's the Community of Christ temple across the street.

And of course, we had to stop at the Visitor's Center..

It was a LONG journey through Kansas and Colorado..
Pretty mountain passes though.

After coming through the mountain pass in Utah (on highway 6),
FINALLY, we were home sweet home!

We had a fun trip,
but we're so happy to be home now.

Happy Birthday Ashlyn!!

Happy Birthday Baby.. er Toddler Girl!!

Ashlyn got this Jump-O-Lene for her birthday.
I was surprised when I pumped it up and it was twice the size I thought it would be.
It took up most of the front room!

As soon as I was done pumping it up, the kids just wanted to get comfy..
Hmm...

Ashlyn's birthday stuffs..

She looks really tall in this picture..

Silly girl.. not sure what that face was for..

Lovely birthday cake..

This is what Ashlyn does every time she finds her blanket.

Birthday cake time!

Yum yum

I love it when she crosses her legs..

Poor Ashlyn in the background. Her brother and sister wanted to take over..

At least she got to open something.. ;0)

Playing with a birthday gift.

In the evening we ended up putting this ridiculous jump-o-lene thing outside.
The neighborhood kids took turns jumping on it. At least somebody did..
It turned into an unofficial birthday party.
Tanya even got to come over and play while her parents worked on their new house.
What a day!

Happy birthday my 1 year old!

Sunday, May 29

Thomas, Princesses and Growing Kids..

Boy! I haven't posted in forever!
Here's some pics of this past month or so..
What kid doesn't love playin' at the park?
This is typical of Isaac lately.. a cut or bruise or some injury
easily seen.

Ashlyn loved these tunnels at the park!

Skinny box for a skinny kid

Aww.. my precious angel is growing.

Elizabeth felt a bit comfy..

This last Thursday, we took a family trip to see Thomas!

Heber Valley Railroad

Isaac was so excited to be riding on a REAL train!
AND it was pulled by Thomas!

He was taking it all in

Aww.. he loves his daddy!

As for me I was feeling a bit sick.
We started off going backwards at
like 15 MPH.. Not as exciting for me, but,
anything for the little ones. ;)

Ashlyn rather enjoyed sitting on the buckle-free seat!

I knew it was going to turn out like the Santa Claus experience.
Yep, he was pretty scary.

Look at the strength of those kids!
Holding trains back like that..
I'm glad the kids had the fun adventure.
As for me, I was sick the whole time, soo..

Ashlyn's hair is getting a bit longer.
Pig tails!!

Side view

Princess Elizabeth
She's been telling us she's a princess
and wearing her dress for the past 3 days in a row.
She even put that flower in her hair by herself.
My kids are growing so fast!
She says things like "Quesadilla" perfectly.
My oh my!
